Highlights:
A modernist Sterling silver brooch with two amethyst cabochons.
Appears handmade.
Nice, solid piece.
On the back is a stamp that is partially obscured by the pin. What is readable: an eagle stamp with a "3" on its chest (indicates it was made from 1948-1955), STERLING and MEXICO. The makers mark looks like MC or MG
In very good pre-owned condition with mild wear. The pin is slightly bowed but works perfectly in a "C" catch. Overall very clean with some spots of patina (
will only polish upon buyer's request at time of payment
).
