For your consideration is a vintage 1941 JUSTICE OF THE PEACE JUDGE / JUDICIAL COMMISSION DOCUMENT for a judge in MARTINSBURG PENNSYLVANIA. The frame is walnut and appears significantly older than 1941. It has the construction (hand-planed wood backing) and look of being from the 1890s (best estimation). The exterior of the frame measures approximately 16x20” and 2” deep. The document measures approximately 11x16”. The document appears to be in good condition overall with a little water staining at the bottom. The document appears that it was folded three times before it was framed. It has a foil gold seal and an actual embossed / pressed stamp. The signatures of the governor and secretary of the commonwealth appear to be hand signed and original. The document was
not
removed from the frame for inspection.
