Harlan Fiske Stone [1872 1946] was a lawyer and political figure who was appointed by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt as the 12th Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court and served as an Associate Justice US Supreme Court From 1925 to 1941. Chief Justice from 1941 until his death on April 22, 1946.

This Autograph was part of a Collection Acquired by an avid fan who wrote to many Public figures in the 1930’s and 1940’s asking for their autograph. The present owner of the collection acquired the same in an Estate sale approximately 40 years ago. This autograph has not been authenticated (but the seller believes the same to have been acquired as mentioned above).
