Antique Jade Repurposed Pendant Pin Mid Century c 1960

Description

An elegant jade pin with a midcentury flare that has movement and richness.
A small pierced antique pale off white jade plaque has been combined with a nylon button, a vintage green jade disc, and a simulated pearl. The jades have a nice translucence. The antique jade has a soft hand polish and the green disk has a shinier machine polish.
There are no marks or labels.
MEASUREMENTS
3 3/8” (8.6 cm) long. Top portion is 1 ½” (3.8 cm) diameter. Jade pendant is 1 5/8” (4.1 cm) long x 5/8” (1.6 cm) wide. Weighs .52 oz (15.3 g)
CONDITION
The pierced jade has tiny black inclusions but no damages. The newer polished jade disc has a fracture. The back of the nylon button has a light scratch. The pin looks shiny and complete.
A rich looking pin that has a modern flare. It has that cachet of old and new.
