1915 Panama-Pacific Exposition Commemorative Award Medal To Ettore Ferrari

I have for sale an award medal from the 1915 Panama-Pacific International Exposition that was held in San Francisco, California.  The exposition was held to celebrate the opening of the Panama Canal, to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the discovery of the Pacific Ocean and the rebuilding of San Francisco following the 1906 earthquake & fire.  The medal is bronze, it is 1 1/4 inch in diameter and in uncirculated condition.  This is the first time I have seen this medal.  The medal obverse at the rim reads PANAMA-PACIFIC INTERNATIONAL EXPOSITION - SAN FRANCISCO.  In the center it shows a raised eagle with a shield behind and below the eagle it has the year 1915.  The reverse at the top rim reads COMMEMORATIVE MEDAL.  In the center it reads AWARDED - BY THE - PANAMA-PACIFIC - INTERNATIONAL EXPOSITION and engraved ETTORE FERRARI.  At the bottom rim in a circle, it reads PANAMA-PACIFIC INTERNATIONAL EXPOSITION and shows Winged Victory standing on the prow of a vessel.  Ettore Ferrari was an Italian Sculpture & painter who was born in 1845 and died in 1929.  I could find no mention of him at the exposition but he might have exhibited some of his works.  Please see more in my EBAY STORE at TE Collectables.  (18582 CRR)  07/13/22 The following information was received from ebayer ilr67.  Ettore Ferrari was vice-chair of the jury that evaluated the works of art that were exhibited at the exposition.  This medal was given to those who provided assistance and support to the exposition but were not direct employees.  The medal was struck in gold, silver & bronze.  Bronze medals were apparently given to jurors, members of state & local support committees.
