1915 Panama Pacific Exposition Poster Brochure Knights Ladies of Security Kansas

This is a vintage original foldout poster brochure issued by the Knights and Ladies of Security mutual benefit fraternal organization advertising a promotion they were running in the fourth quarter of 1914 in which members could receive free train tickets to the 1915 Panama Pacific Exposition World’s Fair in San Francisco, California in exchange for signing up new members.    This is a single piece that folds open to about 20” x 15”.  One side features photos and information on the 1915 Panama Pacific International Exposition and the other side has text explaining the promotion and the numbers of new members needed for tickets which varied by region.    Overall condition is very good for this antique original.   Email any questions.  Thanks for looking.
The following is some information on the Knights and Ladies Security mutual benefit association found on the Kansas State Historical Society website:
The fraternal organization, founded in 1892 in Topeka, Kansas, provided life insurance to individuals and promoted social services to the elderly, poor, disabled, and widows and orphans alike. In 1919, the company merged with the National American Association of Kansas City and became the Security Benefit Association. The company ceased as a fraternal organization in 1950 and became a life insurance company know as Security Benefit Life Insurance.
